Children and Youth Etiquette

Well-mannered children grow into well- mannered adults. Period. ”Parents do not spend enough time with their children, so do not want to spoil what short time they have by nagging about proper behaviour…But more time should be spent teaching children manners” – Mary Killen, Author and Columnist.

When children are impolite, it is not always intentional. Sometimes, children just do not realize that it is rude to pick their nose, interrupt adults’ conversations, or loudly observe that, that lady walking in front of them has a large derriere and is cross -eyed. But we owe it to our children to raise them polite, kind and well- liked. Manners and Grace are here to help your precious children transform to Royalty right before your eyes. With us, your children will learn those basic courtesies that count – it is not nice not to say please and thank you to the nanny and driver. Polite children knock on closed doors – and wait for an answer before entering (or not). They do not interrupt grown ups who are speaking with each other unless there is an emergency. Well- mannered children say thank you to their friend’s parents for having them over at their house. They do not make fun of anyone for any reason at all.
