The Nice Guy…

 

People think being a nice guy means letting everyone get to the front of the queue, while trampling you enroute. They mistake a nice guy for a door mat, or a fool.

In fact, being a nice guy is not about passivity, or being a weakling.

A nice guy is empathetic – he works hard to focus, not on himself and his needs, but rather on the other person and their needs.

 

Key learning point – A nice guy is nice because he is empathetic. He works hard to discover what the customer desires, and then sets about satisfying that desire.
